You spawn in a fairly ordinary Plains biome, but don't let that deter you if you're looking for an early underground adventure. Just about 147 blocks from your spawn point, you'll find a Mineshaft, ready for you to start gathering resources and exploring its depths.

Beyond the immediate underground access, this seed truly shines for ocean lovers. The vast majority of the area around spawn is taken up by Cold Ocean and Deep Cold Ocean biomes. If you prefer building on land, you'll need to travel a bit, but those who enjoy marine exploration will find plenty to do right away.

While there aren't any flashy rare biomes right at your feet, the proximity of various ocean biomes and an early Mineshaft makes this a solid choice for a survival world that encourages both underground and underwater expeditions. Plan for some boat trips and underwater breathing potions.

What you land in

You land at y=66 in a flat Plains biome. The immediate area around you is mostly flat grassland, with a River about 45 blocks away and a Beach just 32 blocks from where you start. Trees are not immediately abundant, but some can be found within reasonable walking distance.
