You spawn standing in Ice Spikes, one of the rarest biomes in the game, and a ruined portal sits only about 25 blocks east. Snowy slopes begin about 32 blocks out and frozen ocean about 72. The nearest village is a longer trek, roughly 330 blocks southwest, so expect a cold, empty early game.
