Minecraft End City Finder
Punch in your seed, switch the map to the End, and every End City on the outer islands shows up as a marker — no download, no account, straight in your browser. Click any city and the popup tells you the thing that actually matters: whether it has an End Ship, because elytra and the dragon head only generate on ships. ezseed models the real End terrain for your seed, so markers sit on actual islands instead of floating over void. If you're planning your first elytra run right after the dragon fight, use find-nearest from (0,0) to see which gateway points toward the closest ship. Works for Java 1.20–26.2 and Bedrock through 26.30.
How to use it
- Enter your seed on ezseed.net and pick your edition and version — Java 1.20–26.2 or Bedrock through 26.30.
- Switch the dimension to the End. City markers appear across the outer islands, sitting on real modeled terrain.
- Click any marker. The popup says whether that city has an End Ship — elytra and the dragon head only spawn on ships.
- Use find-nearest from (0,0) to pick the gateway that points toward the closest ship city.
- Copy the URL to save or share the view — seed, position, and zoom are all in the link.
Good to know
End Cities only generate on the outer End islands, past the roughly 1,000-block void gap around the main island. Switch the dimension to the End and the markers fill in across the islands for your exact seed and version. Because ezseed generates correct End terrain, you can tell at a glance whether a city sits on a big island you can walk across or a small one you'll need to bridge to.
The popup on each marker is where you save time: it says whether the city has an End Ship. Skip the shipless ones on your elytra run — they still hold shulkers and loot, but the wings aren't there. Use the distance tool to measure the bridge from your gateway exit, and the Goto tool to jump the map to exact coordinates. Every view lives in the URL, so you can send teammates a link that opens on the exact city you're routing to. There's also a 3D fly-over viewer if you want to preview the island before you commit blocks to a bridge.
FAQ
Do all End Cities have elytra?
No. Elytra and the dragon head only generate in End Ships, and not every city has a ship attached. On the map, click a city marker — the popup tells you whether that city has a ship, so you can route your run to the ones that actually pay out.
How do I find the End City closest to my gateway?
End Gateways drop you about 1,000 blocks out from the main island. Run the find-nearest tool from (0,0) to see the closest cities in every direction, then take the gateway that points that way. The distance tool tells you how far you'll bridge from the exit platform.
Does the End City finder work on Bedrock?
Yes. Pick your edition and version when you enter the seed — Java from 1.20 through 26.2, Bedrock through 26.30. End City placement differs between editions on the same seed number, so make sure the edition matches the world you're actually playing.
Are the markers accurate, or do I still have to search in game?
ezseed models the actual End terrain for your seed, so markers sit on the real island the city generates on — not on empty void. You can also open the 3D viewer and fly over the island to see the city's towers before you travel there in game.
