Paste your seed into ezseed.net and the map draws every biome in your world — free, in the browser, no download or account. It supports Java 1.20 through 26.2 and Bedrock up to 26.30, so the biome borders you see match what actually generates in-game. Looking for something specific? Open Highlight Biomes in the LAYERS rail and check the biomes you care about — everything else dims, so a lone Mushroom Fields or Cherry Grove jumps out immediately. And because the map state lives in the URL, once you spot that jungle-meets-badlands border you can copy the link and anyone who opens it lands on the exact same view.

How to use it

  1. Open ezseed.net, pick your edition and version (Java 1.20–26.2 or Bedrock up to 26.30), and enter your seed.
  2. In the LAYERS rail, open Highlight Biomes and check the biomes you want — everything else dims on the map.
  3. Hunting cave biomes? Switch biome height to Underground or Bottom to reveal Lush Caves, Dripstone, Deep Dark, and Sulfur Caves (26.2+).
  4. Use the dimension switcher to map Nether and End biomes the same way.
  5. No seed yet? Open the FINDER panel and search thousands of seeds for a biome near spawn, like Mushroom Fields within 1,000 blocks.

Good to know

Since 1.18, biomes are three-dimensional: the surface can be Plains while a Lush Cave runs directly underneath. That's why the map has a biome height selector — Surface shows the overworld from above, while Underground and Bottom (Y -51) reveal the cave biomes below, including Sulfur Caves on 26.2 and newer. The Highlight Biomes list is grouped by category, so oceans, caves, and land biomes are easy to scan rather than one long flat list. If the map answers "where is this biome on my seed," the FINDER answers "which seed puts it where I want" — set a criterion like Mushroom Fields within 1,000 blocks of spawn and it scans thousands of seeds for matches. The dimension switcher covers Nether and End biomes too, so you can scout Warped Forests or End Highlands the same way. And every view you land on is already a shareable link — seed, position, zoom, and highlights included.

FAQ

Does the biome finder work for Bedrock Edition?

Yes — pick Bedrock as the edition and enter your seed; versions up to 26.30 are supported. Keep in mind Java and Bedrock don't generate identical worlds from the same seed number, so map the seed under the edition you actually play on.

Why don't I see cave biomes like Deep Dark on the map?

Cave biomes only exist below the surface, and the default view shows Surface. Switch the biome height selector to Underground or Bottom (Y -51) and Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves, and Deep Dark appear — plus Sulfur Caves if you're on 26.2 or later.

Can I search for a seed with a specific biome near spawn?

Yes — that's what the FINDER panel is for. Set a criterion such as Mushroom Fields within 1,000 blocks of spawn and it checks thousands of seeds, listing every match. Open any result on the map to look around before you create the world.

Is the biome finder free, and do I need to install anything?
